About
"Knistern" is a series in which two artists each present their current musical work in short sets and then discuss it with a music journalist and the audience. The fourth edition brings together baritone saxophonist Sofia Salvo, who improvises between noise, free jazz and experimental music, and Hassan Umer Amin aka Dozakhi/Polymath, a vocalist and lyricist born in Pakistan, whose work ranges from hardcore punk to hip-hop. The conversation is hosted by music journalist Aida Baghernejad. Brunch is served; the series is a project by Andrea Goetzke, Melissa Perales and Sumugan Sivanesan, presented by ByteFM and funded by Musicboard Berlin.
