Künstlerische Interventionen und Gegen/Öffentlichkeiten
Heinrich-Böll-Bibliothek, Greifswalder Straße 87, 10409 Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg
Eintritt frei
About
This event is about artistic practices of intervening in public space. The editors of the book 'Gegen/Öffentlichkeiten' present forms of artistic documentation and commentary using the Ernst-Thälmann memorial on Greifswalder Straße as an example, showing how they can overturn established judgements and create a different, critical public sphere. The event is part of 'Wissen zwischen Büchern', which invites people to Berlin's public libraries during Berlin Science Week. Admission is free and no registration is required.
