About
diekleinegalerie invites to a conversation on a current topic: „Nie wieder ist jetzt?“ – Remembrance and commemoration of the Holocaust between historical scholarship and school. The conversation is between Prof. Wolfgang Benz, a historian, and Jakob Ciré, a teacher of history at a Berlin integrated comprehensive school. It addresses how remembrance can be conveyed when there are no more contemporary witnesses, how it can be kept alive in our post-migrant society, and what the claim of „never again“ means in the present. Due to limited seating, registration is requested.
