About

This is the eleventh edition of the discussion series "On Justice", a panel event held in English. It is organised by HAU Hebbel am Ufer in cooperation with ECCHR and moderated by journalist Siri Keil. The panel brings together lawyer and winner of the 2026 Peace Prize of the German Book Trade Philippe Sands, former Federal Minister of Justice Herta Däubler-Gmelin and human rights lawyer Wolfgang Kaleck. Starting from Sands' latest book, they discuss, 80 years after the Nuremberg verdicts, international criminal law, memory and testimony, and how civil society actors can defend international law.
