Spirit And The Dust
Deutsches Theater, Schumannstraße 13a, 10117 Berlin, Mitte
About
"Spirit And The Dust" is a play by Noah Haidle, presented at the Deutsches Theater Berlin on the DT Bühne as a world premiere. It is directed by Anna Bergmann, who is staging a premiere of Haidle's work for the third time, with Corinna Harfouch and Alexander Khuon among the cast. At its center is Hope Foster, a successful realtor whose job is to find people a home and a place of comfort, but who lost her child in a careless moment during play years ago. During a viewing she meets the young couple Margaret and Will, and eventually a kind of community of fate forms among people stranded by life, including Will's father, a washed-up Latin teacher, the security consultant Jerry and the neighbor Donna.
