About
A talk with readings about the writer, psychoanalyst and physician Angela Rohr (1890–1985), who became known posthumously through her biographical account of the Gulag and much later as an expressionist poet and feuilletonist. The Heinrich-Schulz-Bibliothek presents her in cooperation with the Leibniz Centre for Literary and Cultural Research and the acting programme of the Berlin University of the Arts, as part of a series on authors who lived in Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf. Georgia Lummert of the Leibniz Centre gives the talk on Rohr's Berlin years and her sharp, often unsparing view of individual and society, shaped among other places at the Berlin Psychoanalytic Institute. Émilie Defeu and Asena Ersöz of the Berlin University of the Arts read texts by the writer; admission is free and no registration is required.
