About

Beetlejuice The Musical is a stage musical comedy running at the West End, based on Tim Burton's 1988 cult classic film Beetlejuice. It has music by Australian singer-songwriter and comedian Eddie Perfect and a book by Scott Brown and Emmy Award nominee Anthony King, and follows a recently deceased couple, Adam and Barbara Maitland, who haunt the family that moves into their home with the help of a wickedly quirky poltergeist called Beetlejuice. The family's death-obsessed teenage daughter Lydia Deetz proves hard to scare and becomes the object of Beetlejuice's obsession. The show, a Broadway sensation praised for its jaw-dropping stage effects, eccentric characters and irresistible original songs, plays at the Prince Edward Theatre.
