About
A raga meditation session in which live bansuri and tanpura music guides participants from alert thinking into deep stillness over 90 minutes. Bansuri player Jason Kalidas, classically trained for 26 years and originally a tabla player, creates the melodic landscape, while Eartha Love leads the meditation anchored by the tanpura's continuous drone. Live Hindustani music uses sustained exposure to certain musical frequencies to slow brainwaves from busy beta waves toward calmer alpha and theta waves. The session is part of the Darbar Festival 2026, a festival of Indian classical music.
