About

An exhibition of ten new paintings, all from 2026, by the French-born U.S. artist Nicole Eisenman, presented at Sadie Coles HQ on Savile Row in London. The works, titled such pieces as Orgy, Togetherers and The Waiter, unite a great variety in form and subject with a painterly attention to surface and texture, exploring how many universes one canvas can hold. A text by Canadian writer Emily LaBarge accompanies the show, describing how Eisenman paints her life and feelings, assigning images to emotions. The exhibition coincides with the unveiling of a monumental sculpture by Eisenman in the courtyard of the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
