elizabeth reagh: true fiction
The Painting Center, West 27th Street 547, 10001 New York, Manhattan
About
True Fiction is an exhibition of Elizabeth Reagh's new portrait and figure paintings, shown in the Project Room of The Painting Center. Reagh's small portraits grew out of weekly Zoom drawing sessions, whose drawings became starting points to develop, destroy, or remake. Her figure paintings merge familiar scenes and various figures from different references, mixing real, known, and imagined people. A reception takes place on Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 8 pm.
