About
Godspell the Musical is a musical staged by the Theatre Program at LaGuardia Community College, presented at the Little Theater. It has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by John-Michael Tebelak, and is directed and choreographed by Stefanie Sertich. The production is about community: a group of performing philosophers who do not know how to be together play games, tell stories, argue and laugh, gradually becoming a community that is then tested. It asks how we live together, how we forgive each other, what we owe one another, and what happens when the community we have built begins to fall apart.
