About

An evening of live music at Arthur's Tavern featuring the singer Xiomara Laugart. Known as "The Voice of Cuba", she has performed around the globe for over 30 years and recorded more than 17 albums in her native Cuba. Her repertoire carries jazz influences alongside Cuban rhythms, and she has shared stages with artists such as Omara Portuondo, Pablo Milanes and Silvio Rodriguez. In New York she was a founding member and lead vocalist of Yerba Buena, whose album "President Alien" was nominated for a Grammy.
