About
Dennis Hernandez y su Conjunto Amalia is a classic Cuban formation that brings back the sound of the golden era of the Cuban Conjuntos of the 1940s and '50s. Dennis Hernández leads the group on trumpet, joined by José Luis Armengot on trumpet, Charlie Cajares on lead vocals, Adan Pérez on piano, Ernesto Sanchez on bass, Orestes Abrantes on tumbadoras and coros, and Brian Pozo on bongo and coros. Their repertoire includes rhythms such as Son Montuno, Cha cha cha, Pilon and Boleros. It promises a night of authentic Cuban music.
