The exhibition in the crypt museum beneath the Fraumünster choir presents 1100 years of the city's history. It offers insight into the development of the abbey, the Reformation and the history of today's Fraumünster. On show are archaeological finds such as the head of a Mary statue recovered during excavations in 2013, a testimony to the iconoclasm, along with drawings and animations documenting the building phases of the abbey. Also featured are facsimiles of letters by Heinrich Bullinger, an Ulrich Bible from 1755 and portraits of all pastors since 1524.
