About
«Alice im Wunderland» is a children's opera by Pierangelo Valtinoni, a commissioned work of the Zurich Opera House. The libretto by Paolo Madron after Lewis Carroll's «Alice in Wonderland», in a German version by Hanna Francesconi, tells how Alice follows a rabbit, falls into a hole, and experiences curious adventures. Nadja Loschky stages it with imagination and pace, with Michael Richter conducting. Valtinoni's poetic music already delighted audiences at the Zurich premiere.
