"Die Zauberflöte" is a German opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with a libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder. Mozart's last opera whisks the audience away into a world full of magic, trials and mysterious symbols, telling of the search for inner strength, maturity and overcoming fear. The new production is the work of the Ticinese director Daniele Finzi Pasca, whose poetic stage language unites theatre, acrobatics and circus; the young Finn Tarmo Peltokoski conducts.
