Je l'ayme bien: choral concert by the Swiss Vokalconsort.

A choral concert spanning a wide range of French vocal music, from Renaissance chansons to twelve-part works of the 20th century. Its autumn programme is performed by the Schweizer Vokalconsort under the direction of Marco Amherd. At its heart are Olivier Messiaen's captivating «Cinq rechants», five movements tracing an impossible love story in coded form, inspired by the myth of Tristan and Isolde. They are joined by works by de Lassus, de Leeuw, Le Jeune, de Sermisy and Certon, whose sensual texts speak of adoration, love, distant lands and disappointment.
