Grundlagen Wein & Sensorik

A two-day continuing education course for anyone who wants to build solid wine knowledge, whether starting a career in gastronomy or simply passionate about wine. It is run by GKZ, Gastro Kanton Zürich, with Urs Stieger as the instructor. Topics range from vine to wine, the production of white, red, sparkling and perl wines, the five most important wine styles, and the wine countries Switzerland, Italy and France. Tastings take place on both course days, and participants practise giving guests suitable wine recommendations.
