About
A lecture-style course evening about two unconventional Swiss artistic figures. It concerns Friedrich Glauser (1896–1938), a morphine-addicted outsider who nonetheless achieved great literature and founded the modern crime novel with his Wachtmeister Studer novels written in the Münsingen psychiatric clinic, and Adolf Wölfli (1864–1930), who created his work in the Waldau and is today considered the epitome of Art Brut. In both cases, civil failure became artistic creative power. On an excursion, participants follow the traces of the two.
