About
A concert night at Urban Spree celebrating the release of Sinem's second album "Hatun", with NAARI and DJ JONAS POPPE (OUM SHATT). Sinem, whose band features Tom Wu on music and Sinem on vocals, named the album after her grandmother Hatun, who once packed her suitcase and travelled from Turkey to Germany. On "Hatun" she reinterprets Turkish pop classics by Sezen Aksu, Erkin Koray and others, and the band has now also written its own songs. Her music is described as Anadolu Punk, where tradition answers the stories of today.
