About
"Die Terrakotta-Armee | Ausstellung Berlin" presents the clay army made more than 2200 years ago for the tomb of Qin Shi Huang Di, China's first emperor. Its 170 exhibits include 150 faithful terracotta figures such as infantry, cavalry, archers, officers and generals, together with horses and chariots. Graphics, film clips, models and texts explain the site, the formations and the story of the figures' discovery, as well as a mausoleum complex covering some 56 square kilometres. The visit opens with a multimedia presentation on the first emperor's era.
