About
Die Terrakotta-Armee | Ausstellung Berlin is an exhibition about the famous Terracotta Warriors of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di, who created them more than 2,200 years ago. Over 2,000 years ago the emperor ordered a mausoleum of divine dimensions, surrounded by this army. The show presents 170 exhibits, including 150 artfully detailed, true-to-original terracotta figures: infantrymen, cavalrymen, archers, officers, generals, as well as horses and chariots. Graphics, film clips, models and texts illuminate the emperor's era, his tomb, the formations and the discovery story, and a multimedia presentation introduces visitors to the history.
