About
A talk with discussion about secretly kept transport routes across the Baltic Sea to the Soviet Union. It covers the Mukran ferry port, inaugurated in 1986 as the largest transport project of the GDR, which connected the GDR in a 48-hour cycle directly with the Soviet Union. Wolfgang Klietz has researched the history of the link between Mukran and Klaipėda and presents it with new photos. The event is a cooperation with the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst, moderated by Sören Marotz of the DDR Museum.
