About
"Liebe? Krieg!" is a theatre evening at the Varieté Salon of the ufaFabrik. The new play by the German-Iranian director Raman Allipur brings together two one-act plays by Anton Chekhov, "Der Bär" and "Der Heiratsantrag". Three people – performed by Lena Wendt, Nikolai Novikov and Martin Moeller – meet, a visit becomes a duel, an argument becomes desire, and a marriage proposal almost ends in war. A comedy full of quarrels, desire, pace and surprising twists, in which comedy and tension meet directly.
