A guided tour in German Sign Language through the exhibition “Metaxy : Zwischen Zerstörung und Wiederaufbau”. The Akademie der Künste presents it at the Hanseatenweg; it looks at the period between destruction and reconstruction, that uncertain moment when it is still open how societies deal with loss, guilt and memory. Wars, conflicts and the climate crisis destroy houses, cities and landscapes, and the exhibition asks how reconstruction can succeed without losing sight of social relationships and ecological structures. It brings together positions from many countries, and its exhibition architecture traces the floor plan of the plot's former buildings at a scale of 1:1.
