About

The Mete-Ekşi-Preis is being awarded for the 35th time in 2026, honouring individuals, groups and institutions working in Berlin for peaceful coexistence among children and young people. At its heart are projects aimed at children and young people or initiated and shaped by them, standing up for a city free of racism and other forms of discrimination. The Mete-Ekşi-Fonds invites guests to the award ceremony at Rathaus Charlottenburg, with total prize money of 3,000 €. Taking part sends an important signal for peaceful togetherness among all of Berlin's children and young people.
