About
The photography exhibition “Miji Ih | Mouths: On Water and Whisky” presents the peace statue Ari, erected in 2020 in Berlin's Moabit district. It commemorates the so-called “comfort women” who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese military in the Asia-Pacific region during the Second World War. At the same time, the monument stands for the controversies connected with this memory. The artist behind the work is Miji Ih.
