Ute Mahler: "Derselbe Himmel" is a fashion photography exhibition at Galerie Pankow in the Berlin district of Pankow. It gathers every series Mahler produced for Sibylle, the East German magazine for fashion and culture, in the 1980s, alongside a photo essay that appeared in the FAZ magazine in 2020. Mahler, born in Berka in 1949 and a co-founder of the OSTKREUZ photographers' agency, lets fashion images and portraits flow together, with women and their place in society as the recurring subject.
