Vortrag: Die Amazone der Atomwissenschaft - Das Leben der Lise Meitner
Frauenzentrum Paula Panke, Pankow
About
A talk with reading about the life of the physicist Lise Meitner at the Frauenzentrum Paula Panke in Berlin-Weißensee. Gerta Stecher presents the path of a self-determined woman who faced emotional and intellectual tensions as an Austrian in Prussia, a woman in a man's world, a Jew in Nazi Germany and a stranger abroad. Without her musical childhood home and liberal family background she could not have taken this path.
