About

Blood of My Blood is a play spanning two time frames that explores the legacy of slavery, asking what we inherit, how we challenge injustice and what we need to belong. It was written by Joy Nesbitt and directed by Tatenda Shamiso. Talulah leaves Shepherd's Bush for a cabin on a former plantation in South Carolina seeking answers, while more than 150 years earlier her ancestor Ginnie lived in the same cabin as an enslaved woman. The cast includes Jodie Campbell, Ronkẹ Adékọluẹ́jọ́, Patrick Vaill, Hannah Morrish and Karene Peter.
