About
An exhibition devoted to Keith Haring's three-dimensional work, the first to focus on this side of his art. It gathers sculpture, totems and masks, skateboards, clothing, boomboxes, paintings, drawings, and even an enamel-covered 1963 Buick Special. Haring, known as a master of line who helped define the look of the 1980s, made hundreds of three-dimensional pieces, from painted street-found objects to monumental wood and metal sculptures. The show runs alongside a major book published by Phaidon/Monacelli.
