About
A concert introduction to the pianist and composer Delphine von Schauroth (1813–1887), a child prodigy who was named in the same breath as Clara Schumann, Franz Liszt and Felix Mendelssohn. Dr. Ingrid Bodsch shares facts and anecdotes about this highly gifted, largely forgotten contemporary of Chopin. The introduction accompanies Els Biesemans' outstanding fortepiano recital. The one-off event is organized by the Fortepiano Festival Flügelschläge.
