About
'Melody' is a theatre play with music based on the novel by Martin Suter, a premiere at Theater Rigiblick. Suter granted the theatre the rights to a stage adaptation, directed by Daniel Rohr, enriched with songs by Stephan Eicher for which Suter wrote the lyrics. In a villa on the Zürichberg, the former National Councillor Dr. Stotz tells the young Tom Elmer, who is to sort out his estate, about his fiancée Melody, who disappeared over 40 years ago shortly before their wedding. Tom and Stotz's great-niece Laura begin investigations leading to distant places and into a past where truth and fiction lie dangerously close together.
