About
An evening of talks, discussions and performances on the concept of the work in experimental music. It is organised by the music archive of the Akademie der Künste; participants include Volker Straebel, Helene Herold, Anke Hervol, Bill Dietz, Kirsten Reese and Chiyoko Szlavnics, moderated by Felix Marzillier. The discussion asks how a performance relates to a score and whether there is a work identity linking different realisations of a piece. To this end, Peter Ablinger's verbal score „Instrument & Voice“ (2007–13) is performed in two different interpretations.
