Public guided tours of the Gedenkstätte Köpenicker Blutwoche memorial in the former Köpenick district court prison. Organised by Museen Treptow-Köpenick, the memorial commemorates the wave of arrests and violence carried out by the SA and SS from 21 to 26 June 1933 against several hundred political dissidents and Jews, in which at least 23 people died. The "Köpenicker Blutwoche" stands as an example of the phase of the Nazi seizure of power, in which the National Socialists acted publicly with intimidation, torture and murder. Admission is free and no registration is required.
