About
The Phonoklub at the Berlin Central and State Library presents musique concrète and musique acousmatique from its own record archives. It offers adventurous, captivating sounds from the early days of electronic music. The starting point is the experiments of the French engineer Pierre Schaeffer shortly after the Second World War, work later continued by François Bayle and others. Listening is possible via wireless headphones anywhere in the library; headphones are provided on site.
