About

"On the Line" is a play by Caitlyn Vary and Becky Hartnup, produced by Questors Theatre. Set in the summer of 1976, it follows Valerie, who joins the UK's longest equal pay strike at the Trico factory in Brentford, putting her at odds with her husband. The fictionalised drama is inspired by interviews with the real strikers conducted by the Questors PlayBack team and the book "Trico: A Victory to Remember" by Sally Groves and Vernon Merritt.
