About

ESCAPE is a solo exhibition of paintings by Rachel Rose at Voltz Clarke Gallery. In these works, Rose transports viewers into dreamlike landscapes where familiar botanical forms become metaphors for resilience, vulnerability, and transformation. Centered on the palm tree alongside roses and coneflowers, the paintings draw from her experience living with lupus, an invisible autoimmune disease beneath an outward appearance of wellness. This is her first solo exhibition in New York.
